Membership Assistance
YMCA of Pierce & Kitsap counties offers a variety of payment options to fit your needs. Enjoy the simplicity of our monthly bank or credit card draft; six months or annual payments using cash, check, Master Card, Visa or American Express. benefit people of all incomes and backgrounds. Financial  Assistance is also available.  (Click here for copy of Membership Assistance Application.)

Bremerton Membership Fees - As of July 1, 2010

** The Triangle Membership provides unlimited access to all 26 of the Puget Sound YMCA locations in Kitsap, Pierce, Thurston, Snohomish and King Counties. Workout near where you work during the week, such as Bremerton/Bremerton Family; and workout near home on the weekends, like Port Orchard/Gig Harbor. The Triangle Membership gives you more great facilities and greater flexibility.
NOTE: This would apply to the planned Silverdale Haselwood Family YMCA as well.

Active Duty Military Membership Fees:

The Bremerton YMCA waives the joining fee for all active military individuals or families that wish to join the Y.

YMCA of Pierce & Kitsap Counties:
         (Access to 6 facilities in two counties)

Payment Plans 
Annual Dues
Membership fees may be paid annually by cash, check, Visa,  Master Card or American Express.

Monthly Bank Draft
This is a monthly draft. Under the Quick Pay plan, you pay a pro-rate and/or first month dues, a joining fee if applicable (upon sign-up), and authorize the YMCA to automatically withdraw your monthly dues from your checking/savings account.  

Full-time College Students and Youth
In addition to the above payment plan, quarterly payments are available.

Students do not pay a joining fee. 

Active Duty Military
E-7 and below pay military rates; ratings above E-7 pay regular member rates. 

Military members do not pay a joining fee.

Additional Fees:
The YMCA offers towel service and rental lockers for additional fees.

• Towel service is $7.00 per month per person or $1.00 per towel.

• Rental lockers are $9.00 per month, subject to availability. 
  Note: New rates effective Feb 1, 2010

Non-member Guest Fees and Hours:

Membership Cancellation

The YMCA of Pierce & Kitsap Counties hopes to provide services that meet your health and fitness needs. However, we understand memberships cancellations will occur. The Y requires written notification of cancellation by the 20th day of the month to stop your draft or billing to take effect for the following month.

The YMCA of Pierce & Kitsap Counties reserves the right to suspend or cancel a membership when a member's behavior or language is judged to be in conflict with the welfare of other members of staff, or in conflict with the YMCA values.

Other Notices:

A $30 service fee will be charged on each bad check or debit returned by the bank. In the event payment is not received, your membership will be suspended until your payment is up to date. 

NOTE: Please remember that membership rates are subject to change. You will be given 30 days written notice of any changes.

Guest Policy
Each adult member will be allowed to bring 12 guests at no charge per year. Additional guests will be charged the normal day fee user rate. Guest passes will be kept track via our computer. 12 visits will be issued annually during the member’s anniversary month. Members must accompany their guest.  Guests must present picture ID. All guest privileges are non-transferable and end with termination of membership.

Childwatch Fees:

Childwatch offers three options, pay-as-you go, punch card and monthly unlimited Childwatch services. 

•     The pay-as-you go option is $3.00/hour/child. 

•     The punch card option is $25 for 10 hours. 

•     The unlimited hours per calendar month fees are as follows:

  •     $35 for the first child and $17.50 for each subsequent sibling.

Please Note:  As of July 1st, payment cannot be made in cash at the Childwatch/Preschool Annex. All payments must be made at the Welcome Center in the main building. If you finish your workout and need to pay for your child, do so at the Welcome Center and bring the receipt to Childwatch/Preschool. (Unlimited Paperwork & Punch Cards will still be kept in the Annex.)

Special Notes
Members, guests, and program participants are advised that they use all YMCA premises, facilities, equipment and program activities at their own risk. The YMCA carries no health and/or accident insurance on your behalf. 

• The YMCA cannot be held responsible for your valuables. 

• All scheduled activities and programs are subject to minimum enrollment.

• All rates, fees and schedules are subject to change without notice.
