YMCA facilities will close annually for one week, around Labor Day, for major repairs and cleaning.

 

Changes and Additions:


Youth Fitness Training - New Program!

Previously, youth in the age range from 11-15 were not allowed in the weight room or upstairs for use of the cardio equipment. Starting in mid-April, a new Youth Fitness Training Program has been started to train and "certify" youth to use the weight room and cardio equipment. Click here for more information.


New Time! Functional FUN: (60 min.)  Tues & Thurs 1 pm to 2 pm

Come have FUN - become more fit and gain confidence as we improve coordination, strength, and balance. We'll use light weights, elastic resistance, dowels and chair, if needed. NO mats or floor work.

 

On break through August:

CyclingMon 6 pm and Wed 7 pm

Ballroom Dance:  All classes

If your child is between the ages of two and a half and five years of age, you are welcome to have your child join us; then collect your child any time up to three hours later. (more info)

!NEW!  World Beat Workout: (60 min)  Sun 3 - 4 pm

Enjoy a fun, aerobic dance workout to music from around the world (Africa, Hawaii, Latin America and more). Easy-to-follow format with some basic strengthening and stretching.

 

!NEW!  Pilates Fusion: (60 min) Sun 4:00  - 5:00 pm

Invigorating fusion of Pilates, yoga & ballet. The core exercises of Pilates tone & tighten, while yoga & ballet stretch and lengthen muscles to create a long, lean body with the added benefit of relieving muscle tension & stress. Low impact.

Returning! Ballroom Dance:  (60 min)  Wed & Fri 4-5 pm and Sat 11 am-12 pm

Experience the art of dancing and the mechanics of East Coast Swing, Rumba, Foxtrot & more. NO partner necessary.

 

Returning! Swinging Family:  (60 min.- on the Gym floor)  Sat 12 - 1 pm

For all ages to learn Ballroom Dance, NO partner necessary.

 

!NEW! N2 the Groove: (60 min) Wed 6 - 7 pm; Thu 7:15 - 8:15 pm

Fresh choreography and dance moves set to the beats of Hip Hop, Old School and Pop music, will get your heart racing and body pumping. [L1-3]

 

!NEW!  Power Yoga(60 min)

Focus on the foundations of power yoga, body alignment and physical conditioning. [L 2-3]

 

!NEW!  Tai Chi (60 min)

A slow dance-like martial art to create balance flexibility and calmness.  [L 1-3]
