Activity Descriptions:

Arts-N-Crafts:  Kids engage in a fun-filled art and craft activities, encouraging the child's natural creativity..

Books& Breakfast:  Bring a book and read with friends, or participate in group readings and discussions. Also while enjoying a healthy nutritional breakfast provided by the YMCA staff. A selection of books is also available to kids and families.

Computer Lab:  Computers are available for kids during designated hours for homework, games and educational research. Computers are also available to adults when the lab is closed to kids - see schedule. Ages 6 & up.

Creative Drawing:  In this class kids can learn the basic drawing techniques or just be creative with their drawing skills.

Dance Mix:  A fun way to exercise! Kids face off against each other anon the dance mat. Follow all the clued dance moves to win the challenge and take on a new opponent. 1 pt

Dodge Ball:  Every class begins with basic warm-ups and stretching, followed by some serious Dodge Ball FUN! This class is supervised at all times - Meet at the glass racquetball court. Ages 6-12. 

Fit Kids:  This is a fun and exciting way to exercise! Kids engage in a 45-minute class with a wide variety of structured games and exercise workouts. Age 6 & up.  2 pts

Four Square:  An hour of fun with staff played on a four-square court and a rubber playground ball. Opponents battle it out top rise to the highest ranking square. It's a whole lot of fun! Ages 6 & up.  1 pt

In or Out Games:  Depending on the weather conditions, kids will play a variety of indoor or outdoor group games, Supervised by YMCA staff at all times. 

Jump-4-Fun:  Double Dutch, games, songs and new challenges are part of the fun of jump roping. Come join in the FUN - its great exercise! 1pt

Karaoke:  A time of fun and singing! Kids choose from a large selection of familiar songs and sing their hearts out. Bring a friend or your family. 

Knit-N-Stitch:  Boys & girls participate in step-by-step knitting activity with staff. Other activities include sewing, weaving, braiding and twisting to make projects and be creative. All supplies are provided.

Make It Healthy:  Kids explore healthy recipes through cooking, research, crafts and discussions. Focus is on learning about health and fitness.

Popcorn Cinema:  Kick back and relax! Enjoy a G-rated movie while munching on some popcorn. Families are welcome.

Something from the Kitchen:  Kids have the opportunity to explore the culinary world, working together to design and prepare recipes in the kitchen. Supervised at all times by YMCA staff,

Study Time:  A quiet time set aside for kids to complete homework assignments or study for tests with the help of YMCA staff. Game area will be closed during study time. Kids are encouraged to study or read during the quiet hour. Computers are also available for research and educational purposes only.

Tournament Time:  Kids engage in friendly competition. A fun opportunity for kids to compete in various tournaments in ping-pong, air-hockey, basketball, bumper pool and more.

Youth Spanish:  Kids learn the basics of the Spanish language while participating in fun filled activities, games and songs.
