Kitsap Family YMCA’s
Child Care offers summer vacation activities for children, Kindergarten
thru
entering grade 6, in the Summer Break Day Camp program. This year's theme
is "Rhythm
of the Island"
-
providing an opportunity for the children to
explore science, nature, outdoor adventures, sewing or other creative
expressions from Island cultures and plenty of 'Keep
on Moving' time..
GENERAL DAILY ACTIVITIES

Quiet Time / Reading & Study Clubs
4:30 - 6:00 pm
Late Day Extend Care - Free Choice Areas
Thursdays & Fridays
- Any Camp Outings, 9 am to 4:30 pm (no stay backs, no
alt transportation for summer school) Outing
locations will be announced when locations are set.
For children wanting a more
physically active week, the sports activity station will offer a variety
of team building games and activities.
WHEELS ALLOWED - HELMETS
MANDATORY!
Kids who want to participate in this station may
bring their own bike, outdoor skates or scooter boards (NO
skateboards). Wheelies may be worn during this time only
- helmets mandatory.
REQUIREMENTS: Helmets are
required. Additional protective gear recommended. Please provide
a labeled backpack or duffle bag to keep the gear in while at the
site. Bikes/scooters/skates cannot be shared with others. They can
remain locked and secured at the
program site during the week, but must be taken home each
Friday.
NOTE: There
will be NO jumping or trick riding allowed.
Cost for the Summer
Day Camp Program is:

one-time Registration fee of $35 per child (for 1-8 weeks)

$125 per week per child or $30 per day

Shirt Fee of $10 per child - Mandatory ($12 for adult sizes)

Payments must be made one week in advance (no mailed billing in
summer)
For those enrolled in Before / After
School Program the costs are:

No registration fee
(Scholarships apply*)

$115 per week / $25 per day

20% discount for siblings

Payments must
be made one week in advance (no mailed billing in summer)
* Our goal is for no child to be turned away because
of a family's inability to pay. If rates are keeping you from
participating, please contact the YMCA child care office for a
Scholarship application form. Registration Fees are NOT included in
Scholarship discount.
PRE-REGISTRATION:
To pre-register, fill out the
registration form and
send it to the YMCA Childcare office, along with the registration fee,
Camp Tee fee,
and payment for the first week of enrollment. If applying for
scholarship, please contact the Y'Childcare office for the proper
application form and complete that before registering.
